She was born on April 26, 1948 to Mr. Eduvijez Chavez and Maria Guerrero in Brownsville, TX. Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Alfredo Chavez & Jose T. Guerrero. She is survived by her son Leonardo Garcia Jr.; her daughter Veronica Garcia (Raul Moran); her brothers Bonifacio Guerrero, Armando Guerrero; her sisters Virginia Irigollen, Magdalena G. Moncada; her grandchildren: Elisa Iliana Garcia-Moran, Vanessa Garcia-Moran, Brianna Garcia-Moran & Lucian Garcia Visitation for Mrs. Maria G. Chavez Garcia is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Chapel Service at 7 p.m. Mrs. Chavez Garcia will be cremated at a later date.
