San Isidro - Maria Montalvo, 89, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday May 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 9, 1927 in Hebronville Texas to Sandalio and Zulema Ramirez. She was preceded in death by her husband Eloy Francisco Montalvo and son Eloy Francisco Montalvo Jr.Maria is survived by her loving children; Miguel Montalvo, Juanita Ramos, Anna Maria Pope, Isabel Elizondo and Monica Garza, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a sister Zulema Ramirez from Hebronville.Funeral mass will held on Monday May 15, 2017 at 10:00AM at Iglesia San Cristobal Magallanes, 4501 Santa Engracia, in Mission. Inurnment will follow to the Montalvo Family Cemetery in San Isidro.Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
