It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Ruiz, who was born on October 11, 1970, and sadly left us on August 17, 2024. Maria resided in Crownpoint, Indiana, United States, where she was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Maria was the beloved daughter of Jose Vasquez Ruiz and Manale Maria Luna, and the devoted spouse of Gerardo Gomez, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage since 1985. Together, they were blessed with two beautiful children, Teresa Luna Gomez and Maribel Luna Gomez, and later on, Maria was overjoyed to become a grandmother to five cherished grandchildren.

Maria had a passion for cooking and delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones. She brought joy and warmth to all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Tragically, Maria's life was cut short by lung cancer, leaving a void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, generosity, and love will never be forgotten, and her spirit will shine brightly in the memories of all who were lucky enough to have her in their lives.

May Maria Ruiz rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
