She went peacefully at home in Ocean Township after her valiant fight with cancer.She was born on January 25, 1950 in Kalamata, Greece. In 1970, Maria immigrated to New York where she worked as a beautician.She is pre-deceased by her parents, Antonios & Angeliki Karidis, her first husband, Vasilios Koutsoubos and her sister, Vivian Karidis.Surviving family members are numerous but mainly include her husband, Charlie Bourlokas, oldest son, Dimitrios Koutsoubos, youngest son & daughter-in-law, Antonios & Colette Koutsoubos, step-daughter, Beth Bourlokas & Beth's son, Ethan; two sisters, Penny Arfanakis, Jenny Karakoglou and her husband, Charles and her brother, Dimitris Karidis. Also, too many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and god-children to list or even count.Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-7 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral service 1:30 pm Thursday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1033 West Park Avenue, Ocean Township, NJ 07712. Burial will follow at St. George Cemetery in Neptune.
