Margarita Menchaca IbarraOctober 4, 1925 - August 11, 2016Margarita Menchaca Ibarra, 90, died August 11, 2016 of natural causes surrounded by her family and loved ones.Margarita was born on October 4, 1925 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico to Julia and Ildefonso Menchaca. Margarita married Jesus Ibarra and they had eight children together; Jose, Oscar, (twins) Dora and Juanita, Cesar, Jesus Jr., Rolando and Gerónimo "Jerry". They raised their family in the San Antonio, Texas area until moving to Nampa, Idaho in the early seventies.Margarita loved her family and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. She was an example of strength, love and generosity. She was a devoted Catholic and knew she would be returning to her Heavenly Father upon her passing to be reunited with her loved ones. Margarita will be greatly missed. She always blessed everyone with "Que Dios te Bendiga" as a way of saying good bye. She leaves behind four children, Oscar Ibarra (Patty); Roland Ibarra (Silvia); Jerry Ibarra (Dora) and her daughter Dora Elia Ibarra; 26 grandchildren; 73 great grandchildren; and 11 great- great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her sons Cesar, Jesus Jr., and Jose; her daughter Juanita and few beloved grandchildren.A viewing will be held at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the NEW St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
