Margaret Cameron BroylesSeptember 27, 1932 - November 21, 2016VisaliaMargaret Cameron Broyles passed away on November 21, 2016 after a period of declining health. She was born on September 27, 1932, to Agatha Myers Cameron and Donald J. Cameron. She graduated from Visalia Union High School in 1950, where she was an outstanding student known for her involvement and intelligence. She was co-editor of the yearbook, and in her senior year served on student council. For years she had helped organize the "Class of 1950" reunions, until her health forced her to pass the job on to others. She retired from a management position with AT&T after 27 years. After retiring, with her management skills, she worked a few more years for Southern California Gas Co. She was always a very organized and responsible person.She is survived by her friend and caregiver Enrique Cotton, and her nephew Roger Peebles. Margaret lost her beloved son, Donald Broyles in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Broyles, her parents, and aunts Bettie Havekost, Grace Peebles, and Eunice Cartwright, all whom she cared for and loved. Margaret could always be depended on to help where needed, whether it was watching over a young nephew, or caring for an uncle with dementia. She will be missed and always well thought of by the friends who she leaves behind. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Visalia District Cemetery.
