Margaret McCoy, 78, of Baker, Florida, peacefully entered into rest with family by her side on October 21, 2022. Margaret was born on January 31, 1944, to Orel & Goldie Jackson in Crestview, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles McCoy, daughter, LeeAnn Moore, sisters Carolyn Koon & Peggy Lewis, & one brother, Henry Jackson. Margaret is survived by her grandchildren whom she adored, Jillian (Chop), Jennessa (Jesse), & Jayson (Hannah), all of Baker, Vada (Haleigh), & Justin (Cheryl) of Crestview, Florida. Kristin of Tallahassee, Fl., Josh (Karly) of Indiana, & Ben of Plant City, Fl. Kayla King of Plant City, Fl. & one son-in-law, Vada Moore. Margaret is survived by several great-grandchildren, Trey, Mya, Mariah, Jaylee, Charles, Haddie, Madison (Ajani), TJ, LaRianna, John, Antonio, Mikaila, Noah, Kelsey, Paul, Caroline, Grayson, & Weston. Along with three great-great-grandchildren, Mayani, Jalen, & Donovan. One special great niece also survives Margaret, Debra Gail's daughter (Casey), four siblings, Jr. of California, Wayne of Alabama, Wilbur of Baker & Sharon of Texas, and one son, Thomas (Marcia) of Indiana. Margaret's passion was always to help others & believed in turning the other cheek. Margaret was a true believer in the word of God & was the BIGGEST Baker football fan. Margaret graduated from Baker High School in 1962 and attended Correctional school; she was also a dispatcher for Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and later retired from The Crestview Manor.
Turn the other cheek
