We are saddened to announce the passing of Margaret Alderman, who was born on February 26, 1939 and peacefully left this world on February 22, 2025 in Weston, West Virginia, United States.

Margaret was the beloved daughter of Walter Posey and Tarsey Oleta Jeffries Posey. She was the loving spouse of William Ira Alderman, whom she married in 1946. Margaret and William were blessed with six children: Judith (spouse Arley), Rebecca (spouse Russell), William, Richard, Connie, and Randall.

She was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.

Margaret dedicated many years of her life to working at Jackson Mills 4-H Camp, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of those around her. She retired in 2005 and enjoyed spending her time pursuing her hobbies, such as reading, embroidering, coloring, attending yard sales, playing with her animals, and most of all, spending quality time with her friends and family.

Her kind and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Margaret passed away after a brave battle with an extended illness. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire others for years to come.
