Marcia J. Lange, 62St. Cloud, MNMarch 29, 1955 - July 4, 2017No Memorial service will be held for Marcia Jewel Lange, age 62, of Waite Park, MN who died on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Community in Sauk Rapids, MN. Marcia was born on March 29, 1955 in Grand Rapids, MN the daughter of Richard M. and Elsie Maye (Yanich) Kirkes.  She grew up in Bovey, MN where she attended school and graduated from Greenway High School in 1973.  Marcia then attended Itasca Community College for two years.  Then she went to work in the taconite mines near Virginia, MN for a few years as a gandy dancer.  She also worked as a chief's assistance at resorts near Hibbing, MN.  Marcia and Robert bought their first home on Swan Lake and later they did caretaking at Kom-in-Beach campgrounds, and also at the Bovey elderly apartments. They were married on September 9, 1997 in Las Vegas, when they were living on Deer Lake. They moved to St. Cloud, in 2004.  This has been her home since that time.Marcia loved to shop, go to rummage sales, play bingo, spend time at the casino, and spending time with her two dogs, Elsie and Mariee. She loved to meet new people, good conversation and dining out. She was always very conscious of her appearance and liked getting a complement for it.  She also loved to be on the lake, fishing, barbequing and being the family peacemaker.She was preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by; her husband, Robert Lange of Waite Park, MN; one step-daughter Kelli Bastien of St. Cloud, MN; three grandchildren, Austin, Kane, and Peyton; her sister Merrie Ann (Lee) Hesselroth of Braham, MN; two brothers, David (Marcia) Kirkes of Zimmerman, MN and Bryan (Lorie) Kirkes of Alexandria, VA; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
