It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Makenzie Everson, born on October 30, 2016 in Roanoke, Virginia, United States. Makenzie passed away on February 8, 2025 in Rocky Mount, Virginia, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories.

Makenzie was the beloved child of Summer Marie Moore Everson and Michael Eugene Everson. Survivors include grandmother Debbie Darlene Patsel, brother Ciara "Quinton" Everson and his fiance Karissa "Rain" Wildrick, sister Shylynn Miracle Everson, as well as multiple aunts, uncles, and special cousin.

During her time on this earth, Makenzie brought joy and laughter to those around her. She was a social butterfly and friend to all. She had a smile that brightened the world around her. She will be forever missed by friends and family.

May Makenzie Everson, a Princess and Jelly Belly, rest in peace, knowing that she was loved and cherished by so many. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
