MARTINVILLE - A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 3, 2017, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Maisel Patin Randazzo, 83, who passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville from 9:00 am until 12:45 pm on Friday.Rev. Jude Halphen will officiate at the Memorial Service. Readers will be Ryan Joseph Randazzo and A. Nelson Robinson IV. Gift bearers will be Kyle Michael Randazzo, Alexander Bartlett Robinson, Ansley Collin Robinson, Frank Joseph Randazzo III, and Zachary Lloyd Randazzo.Mrs. Randazzo was born on October 24, 1933 to the late Lloyd and Irene Latour Patin. She worked as a teacher at Mercy High School in St. Martinville where she was the basketball coach for many years, winning many district championships and regional championships. She later served as Director of Parks and Recreation for St. Martinville. During her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, and cherishing moments spent at family gatherings with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Loy Randazzo Robinson and husband A. Nelson Robinson, III of Lafayette; son, Frank Joseph Randazzo, II and wife Karla of New Iberia; grandsons, Ryan Joseph Randazzo and spouse Alison of Houston, TX, Albert Nelson Robinson, IV and spouse Kelly of Houston, TX, Kyle Michael Randazzo and spouse Abby of Dallas, TX, Alexander Bartlett Robinson and spouse Mary of Broussard, Ansley Collin Robinson of Broussard, Frank Joseph Randazzo III of New Iberia, Zachary Lloyd Randazzo of Lafayette; four great-grandsons, Jackson Taylor Robinson, Tyler Joseph Randazzo, Jack Joseph Randazzo, Albert Nelson V. ; brother, Harry Lee Patin of Lafayette; sister, Pat Fuselier and husband Sid of Aniston, Alabama.She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Joseph Randazzo and parents, Irene Latour and Lloyd Patin.
