It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mahijah Jackson, who left us too soon on October 1, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on December 4, 1999, to Johnny Jackson Sr and Laciandra Lankford.

Mahijah was a bright and bubbly soul who brought joy to everyone she met. She attended Seogville High School, where she graduated in 2017, before continuing her studies at Dallas College and graduating in 2022.

She pursued a career in nursing, a profession that suited her caring and compassionate nature perfectly. Mahijah touched the lives of many patients during her time as a nurse, always offering a smile and a kind word.

Despite not having children of her own, Mahijah was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend to many. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her love of adventure, and her unwavering kindness.

Her passing from an unknown heart condition has left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. Mahijah may be gone, but her spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, dear Mahijah. You will be dearly missed.
