This obituary is administered by:

A beautiful soul gone too soon

Mahealani "Mai Tai" Baker, beloved mother, and friend, passed away on June 18, 2024, in her hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii. She was born on September 5, 1983, to her loving parents George and Ida Baker.

Mai Tai is survived by her five children, Kaimalie, Napualani, Shaylin, Shya, and Kailea, who will continue her legacy of sass and style. She was known for her quick wit, contagious laughter, and uncanny ability to always have the perfect comeback.

Despite her career as a CNA, Mai Tai was best known for her impeccable fashion sense, which always included a signature pair of oversized sunglasses and a bold statement necklace. She never left the house without looking her absolute best, even if she was just running errands around town.

Her friends and family will always remember Mai Tai for her love of life, her fierce loyalty, and her devotion to her children. She may no longer be with us, but her spirit will live on in the memories we shared with her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hawaiian Tropic Fund, in honor of Mai Tai's love for all things tropical and glamorous.

You can to the family or in memory of Mahealani Baker.
