Lynn Hadden, 88, passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 in Perkins, Oklahoma, surrounded by family. Lynn was born on Sept. 8, 1928 to Alden Thomas and Daisy (Slade) Hadden in Kline, Colorado. Lynn married the love of his life, Myrtle (Kennedy) Hadden in Silverton. They had five children together: Daniel, Lowell, Cindy, James and Lynn Jr. In 1950, Lynn joined the United States Army and served proudly for two years. After being honorably discharged, Lynn moved to New Mexico, where he worked as a Uranium miner and then moved to Alaska to work in the oilfield. After years of working, Lynn retired and moved to Arizona to be closer to family.Lynn was a loving family man who worked hard to support his family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He hunted moose and fished for salmon while living in Alaska. Lynn loved riding his four-wheeler and mining for gold. Lynn spent his last few years in Oklahoma with his granddaughter Jamie Looney, her husband, Will, and their five children. They frequented Boomer Lake where he enjoyed feeding the geese and watching the children play.Lynn is survived by two sons, Daniel and wife, Lucille, of Longview, Washington, and Lowell and wife, Liz, of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Cindy and husband, Royce, of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter-in-law, Vivian; and brother, Lonnie of California. Lynn is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.Lynn is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; sons, Lynn and James; both parents; five sisters, Nora, Clema, Irene, Alene and Lola; and brother, Tommy.The family will be holding a private family service at a later date.
