Lula Wilkinson, born on April 24, 1968, passed away on July 19, 2024, in chesapeake, Virginia, United States. She was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Agnes Ashley.

Lula was a devoted mother to two children, Thomas James Wilkinson (spouse Bridgette Fisher) and Eric Paul Wilkinson (spouse Abigail Floyd). She was also a loving grandmother to two grandchildren, Ryland James Robert Wilkinson and Mason Thomas Wilkinson.

Lula worked at the Virginia Pilot, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. She was a valued member of the team and made many lasting friendships during her time there.

Tragically, Lula's life was cut short by pancreatic cancer. She fought bravely against the disease, demonstrating incredible strength and resilience until the very end.

Lula will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
