Lucille Helen Clark, age 96, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Avon Park, Florida. She was born on July 3, 1920 in Natick, Massachusetts to the late Arthur William and Eva Belle (Adams) Moffatt, Jr. Lucille was a hairdresser by trade. She moved to the Avon Park area in 2006 and was a member of Union Congregational Church. Lucille was involved in many different organizations including a charter member of Charles River Chapter of North American Family Campers Association and Fairs and Squares Square Dance Club. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, making rugs and teaching ceramics. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed taking the children and grandchildren camping. Lucille lived at Reflections on Silver Lake for more than two decades. She enjoyed hosting holiday parties, often having a roomful of people. Her hospitality was well known in the park. Survivors include her children: David Clark-Sebring, FL, Lynne Clark-Worcester, MA and Paul (Jane) Clark-Ft. Myers, FL; five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest WhiteyClark (both having died on December 11th twenty-one years apart); her brother: John Moffatt, a former Deputy Fire Chief of Natick, MA. and her daughter Cynthia Clark. The family would like to thank Rent a Relative for the care they provided the past several months and Vitas Hospice for their compassionate guidance and care. There will be a funeral service on Sunday, December 18, 2016, 2:00 pm, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastor Bill Breylinger officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 pm. Her body will be interned in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
