Woods, Louise B. 87, of Wichita, KS, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, July 3, 2016, in Newton, KS. Louise was born on September 2, 1928 in Beaumont, TX, the daughter of Leander Breaux and Winnie Mouton. Louise was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Louise dedicated her life to serving her Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Edward J. LaKous, Jr.; and husband, Ernest L. Woods. Survivors include her loving children, Edward (Denise) LaKous, Karen J. Johnson, both of Wichita, Michael W. (Tonda) LaKous of Renton, WA, David L. LaKous of Charleston, SC; sister, Pat Eastham of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 7; Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita.
