Louise B. Voshell, 84, of Waverly, and formerly from Waterloo, passed away on Dec. 12, 2016, at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly.Louise Barbara Voshell was born on Sept. 25, 1932, the daughter of Melvin and Barbara (Hupfer) Lockwood in West Union. She graduated from Lamont High School in 1950. On April 16, 1951, she was united in marriage to Boyd B. Voshell at the Church of Christ in Arlington. She was employed at Potter's Ice Cream in Waterloo and then at Bishops Buffet in Waterloo for 27 years. She retired from Bishops Buffet in 1992.Survivors are her three daughters, Kathy (Tim) Harn, of Waverly, Sandy (Tim) Murray, of Elk Run Heights, and Janice (Garry) Burns, of Waterloo; two sons, Ron Voshell (friend, Darlene), of Waterloo, and Steve (Laurie) Voshell, of Hampton, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Boyd Voshell on Jan. 12, 2014; and a brother, Lee Lockwood.Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Chapel at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community with the Rev. Al Bidne officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and also an hour prior to the service on Friday at the Good Shepherd Chapel.
