Louis R. Hill, Sr., 69, of New Haven, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. He was born in Darlington, South Carolina on May 12, 1947 to the late Walter and Nancy Bostic Hill. He retired from Applied Engineering in 2012 where he worked as a machine operator.
Louis leaves to cherish his memory, son, Louis R. (Michelle) Hill, Jr., Michael and Donald Hill; daughters, Sheila E. (Joseph) Alexander and Patricia Hill; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Meta Hill; brother, Matthew Hendrix; and sister, Elizabeth Gatison.
