We are saddened to announce the passing of Lorrie Thorpe, who left this world on October 4, 2025, at the age of 63. Lorrie was born on June 1, 1962, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to her loving parents James Pettigrew and Barbara Buckner.

Lorrie was a devoted wife to Stan Thorpe, whom she married. Also a loving mother to her five children: Regina Pettigrew, Lee Thomas Jr, Kavita Thomas, Keith Pettigrew, and Lavita Pettigrew. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren.

Lorrie attended South Junior High School and had a passion for hobbies like crossword puzzles, reading books, and cooking. She will always be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and love for her family.

Lorrie passed away from natural causes, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
