Lorraine M. Self died on Sunday, June 26, 2016, in her home surrounded by love from her daughters and a grandson. When she was born on January 28, 1940, the world became a much better place. When she died, she left behind the love and kindness she gave every day of her life. Lorraine was an extraordinary wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her caregiving knew no bounds. She is survived by her daughters Celeste Beach, Leisha Self, and Charla Self, her father Eston Kamrath, her grandchildren Travis and Tyler Beach, Danny, Abby, Tali and Aaron Weiss, her brothers and sister George Kamrath, Charlie Kamrath, and Marjorie Florentine, and all of the in-laws who also loved her very much. Lorraine's memorial service will be held at First Christian Church of Yuma on July 1, 2016, at 12:00pm. A public viewing will be held at Johnson Mortuary on June 30, 2016, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GriefShare Group of First Christian Church, an organization which Lorraine gave to with all her heart.
