Lorie Ann Dinger, age 50, formerly of Brookville, PA, and recently residing in DuBois, PA, passed away during the late evening hours of Thursday, August 4, 2016, as a patient of the Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Lorie was born on June 29, 1966, in Brookville PA, to the late Everett Dinger and Mary (Dempsey) Dinger; her mother Mary survives her. Lorie brought joy to those she encountered. She liked to crochet and she loved watching movies and television. She enjoyed passing time by putting together puzzles and playing cards. She enjoyed the outdoors and before her physical abilities were hindered, she enjoyed fishing and swimming. Lorie was a loving sister, daughter, aunt, and great-aunt. Her family misses her dearly and they love the good memories that they share with her. In addition to her mother, she is survived by 1 sister; Kathy (Steven) Irwin of Reynoldsville, PA; 1 brother, Robert "Bobby" Dinger of Lumberton, TX; 2 nieces; 1 great-niece; and 1 great-nephew. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by 1 sister-in-law, Tina Dinger. Services and interment were handled privately by her family.
