On February 9, 2025, Shawano, Wisconsin lost a beloved member of its community. Lois Hughes, born on November 17, 1946, passed away peacefully at the age of 78.

Lois was the daughter of Helmuth and Elsie Klingbyll. In 1974, she married the love of her life, Bill Hughes. Although they did not have any children of their own, Lois was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Lois was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting in her spare time. Her handmade creations will be treasured by those who were lucky enough to receive them.

Lois will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
