Lloyd R. "Skinny" ChaffinCIRCLEVILLE: Lloyd R. "Skinny" Chaffin, 91, of Circleville passed away on March 18, 2017. He was born on November 21, 1925 in Ross County to Charles and Daisy Alice (Bush) Chaffin. He was a retired farmer in Ross County, worked for Ross County ODOT, owner and operator of Marathon Station in Hallsville and retired from E.I. DuPont with over 20 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Stewart) Chaffin, brothers Frank, Gerald, Carl, Jim and Sam Chaffin and by sisters Loretta and Pat Davis and Wanda Irvin. Lloyd is survived by his children Daisy (Tom) Handley, Robert Chaffin, George, Gary, Rick and Danny Chaffin and Debra (Jim) Good and Brenda (Paul) King, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren including grandchildren Matthew (Ashley) and Megan Handley, great grandchildren Rylie, Reagan and Ripley Handley and by sisters Anna Kempton, Madge Summitt, Shirley (Guy) Hunter, Jeanette (Harley) Coulter and Sandy (Garry) Kuhn and by brothers Larry (Linda) and Bill (Trina) Chaffin. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
