Master Sargent Lloyd Coleman, died peacefully in his home on June 28, 2018. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he was also in charge of the motor pool. Lloyd was born June 14, 1936, in Wharton, Texas to Thelma and Allen Lloyd Coleman. He joined the armed forces and was assigned to the Marine Corp base camp in LeJeune, NC. He was discharged with full honors in 1980 and moved back to Houston to work for the city of Houston until his full retirement in 1999.

Master Sargent Coleman was a brave and loyal soldier, as well as a patient and loving father. He married Cora Mae Dixon in 1968. He is survived by his loving wife, his daughter Kecia Coleman Dunn, his sons Lloyd, Jimmy, and Corey Coleman; four grandchildren and a host of loving friends and family.

A celebration of life will take place on July 31, 2018, and immediately will follow a family brunch. On behalf of the Coleman Family, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts.
