Lizzy Lopez, 24, unexpectedly died at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center. She was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, April 17 at 3:00 pm because she was complaining of severe stomach pain, which proved to be a burst appendix. And although surgery and appendectomy were undertaken it was too late. 

Lizzy was born on March 15, 1994, in Santa Ana, California to parents Daniel and Mary Lopez. Lizzy lived a fulfilling life as a student, sister, daughter, and aunty. She worked as a part-time teaching assistant at "My Mommy's Daycare and Preschool," while also being a student at Irvine Valley College. Lizzy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with friends and family, reading, painting, and going hiking. 

Family, friends, and others whose lives Lizzy touched are invited to the memorial service that will be held on Tuesday, May 1st from at 12 pm at the Family Mortuary, which is located in Santa Ana.
