Linnie Mitchell of Charlotte, North Carolina died January 25, 2019. She was born June 29, 1944 to the late Carl and Georgoa Williams. She was a graduate of Meredith College and had a fulfilling career as a teacher in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system.

Linnie was known for her love of children and also for her warmth and kindness. Each child was special to her and she made sure that all of her kids had a chance to excel with their individual strengths.

Linnie has is survived by her daughter, Bonita  grandson Jahleel, granddaughter Jaquaya and great grandson Jabeon. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and a nephew.
