Wittmann, LindaLinda Lee Wittmann, Sherwood, age 70, died unexpectedly on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at home.She was born on October 17, 1946, daughter of the late Ralph and Norma (Rusch) Martineau.On November 16, 1974, Linda married Arthur Wittmann. The couple lived in Sherwood their entire married life.The most important thing to Linda was family. She felt blessed to have loving and devoted parents and she was fiercely loving and devoted to her family. She was our foundation and our strength.For over 25 years Linda worked in Flexible Benefits for M&I Bank. She began her career with Valley Bank where she made many close friends.She and Art had a close group of friends. This group enjoyed ski trips, traveling, countless dinners and family events together.Linda and Art were world travelers and she enjoyed many hiking trips with her son Scott. Linda's recent retirement allowed her to rediscover her crafty side. She was also able to reconnect with friends and family and enjoyed numerous luncheons with them. Linda also found great comfort with the ladies of Naomi's Table Bible Study at Bethany.Linda had a passionate love for reading which she shared with her daughter Kristin and granddaughter Sophia. She cherished every moment they spent together. She loved attending Sophia's many performances and was especially proud to be Sophia's Godmother.Linda is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, Art Wittmann; two children: Kristin (Tom) Uitenbroek and granddaughter Sophia, Darboy, and Scott Wittmann, Menasha; brothers and sisters-in-law: George (Pat) Wittmann, Joseph (Olivia) Wittmann, Robert (Joann) Wittmann, Caryl (Larry) Busse, Marilyn (Conrad) Knier, Kristine (Steven) Kratke. Linda is further survived by countless friends and extended family.She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Norma Martineau. She is further preceded in death by her husband's family: Joseph and Irma Wittmann and Tom and Dick Wittmann.The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Bob and Joann Wittmann and Carl and Marilyn Lamers.Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday June 24, 2017 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Kaukauna with Levi Willms officiating. Friends may call at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Friday and again Saturday directly at the church from 10:30 am until the time of services.
