Linda S. BrownZANESVILLE: Linda S. Brown, 71, of Zanesville, passed away at 11:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.She was born on October 31, 1943 in Urbana, Ohio a daughter of the late Marvin and Martha (Potter) Taylor. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Zanesville Bowling Association, Child Conservation League, various card clubs and a former member of the Maysville Board of Education. She had been employed at General Electric in New Concord and later served as office manager for Dr. Michael B. Shannon.She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Allen R. Brown of the home; two sons, Keith (Luisa) Brown of Richmond, Texas and Kevin (Carly) Brown of Zanesville; two brothers, Steve Taylor of Zanesville and Ron Taylor of Lebanon, Indiana; three grandchildren, Seth Brown, Evan Brown, and Camila Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Jimmy Taylor and Shirley Taylor.Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015.
