We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Linda Cartíer-Byrd, who was born on March 31, 1942, in Alexandria, Indiana, United States, to Robert and Mae Cartíer. Linda peacefully left this world on April 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Linda is survived by her partner, Terry Byrd, and her two beloved children, Alina Cartíer and Shane Cartíer. She was a devoted mother who always put her family first and loved them unconditionally.

Linda attended Pelès High School and later pursued a career at Pelès Bank, where she worked diligently and made many lasting friendships. She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to her job.

Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious laughter. She brought joy to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Her sudden passing due to a heart attack has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. We take solace in knowing that she is now at peace and watching over us from above.

Rest in peace, dear Linda. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts.
