Linda Jo Kreger (59) was a beautiful soul, whose smile and laughter could light up any room. Her family was her life! Her husband Scott was her best friend and soulmate of 37.5 years, who helped her build the beautiful life she had. Her boys (Gregory and Dustin) were her everything. They made her dream of being a "Memaw" come true. Her grandchildren (Lennyn, Hunter, Eleanor, Axle and Bailey) were the absolute lights of her life. They will always hold close the special memories that they had with her. How overwhelmingly heartwarming it is to see that she was truly loved by ALL.
Linda spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren, but when she wasn't with them, she was either shopping for her family, camping, gardening, or getting crafty. She was ALWAYS looking out for everyone else. Everyone loved her beautiful soul, but God loved her more. We must learn not to live without her, but to live with all the love she left behind.
Linda's wishes were not to have a typical funeral, but to have a celebration of life with all of her family and friends. Honoring her memory will begin with a memorial ceremony, where we will lay her ashes to rest at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester, MI (Date TBD). Right after the ceremony, we will honor her wishes by hosting a BIG "Celebration of Life Corn Roast" at the Kreger residence. Anyone who knew Linda knew how much she loved planning her annual corn roast, and what a better way to celebrate her life then by gathering all of her family and friends to laugh and reminisce over her beautiful life.
Linda is survived by her husband, Scott Kreger, her children Gregory Kreger, Dustin Kreger (Rachel Kreger); grandchildren, Lennyn Kreger, Hunter Kreger, Eleanor Kreger, Axle Kreger, Bailey McKay; parents, Edward Balhorn, Mary Jo Balhorn; siblings, Catherine Warner (Dave Warner), Christine Zoglmann (Tony Zoglmann), and Keith Balhorn (Tina Balhorn).
