Obituary: Linda Adams (January 12, 1971 - October 3, 2023)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Adams, a beloved member of the Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania community, on October 3, 2023. Linda, born on January 12, 1971, brought joy, love, and kindness to everyone she encountered throughout her remarkable life.
Linda was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, anunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Adams, who instilled in her the values of compassion and generosity. Growing up in Punxsutawney, Linda developed a strong sense of community and always embraced the welcoming spirit of her.
Linda cherished her role as a loving wife mother And aunt She married her best friend and soulmate, John Adams, in 1995, and they built a strong and loving relationship filled with laughter, support, and shared dreams. Together, they raised one beautiful child together Emily adams (14) who is the shining lights of their lives.
Linda and her family enjoyed countless adventures together, exploring the natural beauty of Punxsutawney and the surrounding areas. Whether it was hiking in the rolling countryside, picnicking by the riverbanks, or simply enjoying a family meal around the table, Linda's love and joy radiated through every moment. She created a home filled with warmth, love, and cherished memories that will forever be held dear by her family and friends.
She selflessly dedicated her time and energy to serving her community during times of need, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear. Her contributions to the betterment of Punxsutawney will forever be remembered and appreciated.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Linda will remember her for her infectious smile, her kind and compassionate heart, and her unwavering love for her family, friends, and community. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hope that will continue to inspire all those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, John Adams; her adoring child, Emily Adams; her beloved nieces and nephews and a wide circle of extended family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories they made together.
Funeral arrangements will be private to family only and be held on October 8 , 2023, with a viewing at 10:00 am and a memorial service at 11:00 am. Following the service there will be a celebration of life time and all is unknown
Linda Adams touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on the Punxsutawney community. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
