Linda L. GillilandFALLSBURG: Linda L. Gilliland, 70 of Fallsburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 3, 2016 with her daughters and granddaughter by her side. Linda was born on August 17, 1945 in Jackson, Ohio where she attended Jackson High School.She was preceded in death by her parents Edith M. Terry and Ansel E. Terry of Jackson, Ohio.She is survived by husband John W. Gilliland of Fallsburg, Ohio; daughters Edith A. Gilliland of Lucas, Ohio, Linda Suzan (Ron) Suttles of Zanesville, Ohio; and granddaughter Shawna N. Zimmerman of Cutler, Ohio; and two great grandsons Cameron Zimmerman and Dash Zimmerman of Cutler, Ohio.Her family is what gave her the most joy and she especially loved to spoil them every year with her famous Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Most recently, her greatest joy came from spending time with her two great grandsons.Linda also loved music and was known to "cut a mean rug" in her day. She enjoyed billiards and was a steely-eyed poker player. She had a huge soft spot for animals and was preceded in death by several beloved pets. Her dogs Max, Rainy and Hobo and her birds Nikki and PeeWee and "grand dog" Yogi.
