Linda A. (Pohle) Carter, of Springville, New York, passed Monday, October 16, 2017, at Buffalo General Hospital at the age of 51. She was born January 12, 1965, in Cheektowaga - a daughter of Daniel and Mary Ann (Mack) Pohle of West Seneca.

Linda was a graduate of Maryvale High School and received an Associate's Degree from Bryant & Stratton College. She worked as a banker for HSBC Bank in Springville and was a member of St. Aloysius Church. Deborah loved crafts, reading, listening to music, especially hard rock, her two cats and telling stories about her cats. She also was very active in assisting her husband, Jim, in various organizations. She married her husband Jim Carter in 1999 at St John the Baptist RC Church in West Valley.

Linda is survived by her parents, Daniel and Mary Ann (Mack) Pohle of West Seneca; her husband, Jim Carter of Springville; two brothers, David Pohle of Hilton, NY and James (Cheryl) Pohle of Alden; in-laws, James P. (Christine) Carter; brothers-in-law, Cliff (Sue) Carter and Shane (Melissa) Carter; also by several nieces and nephews, Andrew, Matthew, and Zachery Pohle; Megan and Christopher Carter; Alisha and Alexis Gajkowski.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Jim's residence at 104 Springer Rd. 13439. A memorial mass will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017, at 10 AM at the St. Aloysius Church in Springville.
