Linda Astarita, beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 25, 2025, in Columbia, Missouri.

Born on June 15, 1950, Linda was the daughter of Charles and Henrietta Heyen. She is survived by her three children, Christine Burton, Roger Johnson Jr., and Todd and Samantha Johnson as well as her seven grandchildren.

Rachal and Drew Owens, Amber and Brittney Burton, Justin Johnson, Logan Reams, Katelyn Johnson, and Hunter Johnson and several great grandchildren.

Brother Wayne Heyen and family

Sister Karen Quinly and family

Known for her love of reading, Linda could often be found with her nose buried in a book, escaping reality and immersing herself in fictional worlds.

Despite her passing, Linda leaves behind a legacy of unfinished books and unanswered questions. She will be remembered for her quick wit, sharp tongue, and unparalleled ability to make even the most mundane tasks seem entertaining.

Rest in peace, Linda. We hope you find the ultimate book to satisfy your voracious appetite for reading in the afterlife.

We will be having a private family ceremony March 15, 2025 to honor Linda.
