March 26, 1931 - December 7, 2016Lillian (Seidel) Svoboda, age 85, entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2016. She was born on March 26, 1931 in Moulton, Texas. Lillian was a loving, devoted and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her late husband Daniel, who passed away in November 2009 considered his wife the BEST COOK ever in the 58 years they were married. Lillian is survived by 3 children, son James Svoboda, daughters Patricia Shipley and Shirley Stevenson, and son-in-law Ray, 4 grandchildren, Wendy, Nicole, Jason, and Jeffrey, and 5 great grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, Colin, Caitlyn and Landon. Lillian also leaves behind 4 sisters, Wilma Kubenka, Roselyn Cloat, Dorothy Krause, Jeanette Meyer and 1 brother Edwin Seidel and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.ServicesVisitation will be held on Monday December 12, 2016 at Mission Park North from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Funeral will be Tuesday December 13th 2016 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Stevenson, Jeffrey Stevenson, Brian Barta, Ken Kubenka, Pat Forister, andColin Forest.
