Lillian Bartlett, 91, passed away on November 7, 2012 at her home. Lil was born on September 28, 1921 in Jamestown, South Carolina. Lil wore many hats. She was a military wife, mother, grandmother, modeling carpenter, chinchilla breeder, and she operated a watering business, ran a restaurant for the VFW, ran a foster home and was the historian for the family. Lil was married to Bill, her childhood sweetheart, best friend and soul mate for 65 years. They travelled the world together. Lil is survived by her only son, Stephen Bartlett of Weatherford, Texas; grandson, Steve Bartlett of Jonesboro, Texas and granddaughter, Jeania Bartlett of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Lil's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Sunset Vista Funeral Home.
