Lidia Lopez, 83, of Santiago de los Caballeros, Santiago, Dominican Republic, passed Monday, April 29, 2019.

Lidia was born May 22, 1935 in Santiago, Dominican Republic, daughter of the deceased Juan Jose Guzman and Maria Del Carmen Lopez.

Before her illness, Lidia was a hard working person whom after retiring was still very active and independent woman. She was very spiritual and hold strong to her faith until her last breath. 

She was a great person. She believed in doing good deeds and tried her best to be there for her children at all times. 

Besides her daughter Lilian, Lidia is survived by her granddaughter Loraine and two grandsons Khalil and Kaylor.

Lidia was predeceased by her daughter Olga and sons Victor and Edward.

The Memorial Service will be held from 4 to 9 pm on Friday May 3,2019 at R.G Ortiz Funeral Home, 4425 Broadway.
