Lester Joseph Guillotte, Sr.(L.J.) passed away on July 24, 2017 at the age of 79. He was born on September 13, 1937 in Lafayette, LA. L.J. Sr. was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Shirley Palmisano Guillotte, son Lester Joseph Guillotte, Jr. (L.J.) and wife Debbie Guillotte, Grandsons: Lester Joseph Guillotte, III (L.J.), Jaime and Jennifer Douglas, Seth Douglas. Great-grandchildren: Krista Douglas, Mia Douglas, Hunter Douglas, Sean Douglas, Sara Douglas and Adalyn Douglas. He is preceded in death by his mother Theresa Panepinto Ehren. L.J. will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
L.J. proudly was a member of the Air National Guard and retired after 27 years as a NOFD Firefighter. L.J. was also a member of the Gold Dust Twirlers square dance club.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in New Orleans, LA at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Friday, July 28, 2017.
