Leroy Jones "Skippy", 72, of 308 Baldwin Avenue, was born on January 3, 1949 in Greenwood, SC and departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Self Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Doris Jean Burnside and J.W. Jones.

Leroy attended Greenwood High School. Leroy was a dedicated employer with GEODIS Contract Logistics, where he retired after 30 years. "Skippy" was the life of the party. He always kept a smile on his face and yours. 

He was preceded in death by one son, Leroy Jones Jr.

Leroy leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories his devoted wife, Shirley Davis Jones, of Greenwood, SC; daughters, Aliza Jones Thompson, of Greenville, SC and Tonya Lashun Jones, of Greenwood, SC; sister, Emma Mae Jones, of Greenwood, SC; brothers, Jackie Jones and Alonzo Jones, both of Greenwood, SC; granddaughter, Jahnia Camp, of Greenville, SC; grandson, D.J. Sligh, of Greenville, SC; a host of special nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews relatives and friends
