Leon Leaveil Claysan angeloLeon Leaveil Clay, 36, of San Angelo, passed away on Saturday Feb. 11, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Jan. 2, 1981, to Howard and Patricia (Weaver) Clay in Hobbs, New Mexico. He attended school elementary school in Hobbs, New Mexico. and Central High School in San Angelo. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by father, Howard Leon Clay, brother, Howard Lee Clay, grandparents and his aunt and uncle.Leon is survived by his daughter, Melia Clay; mother, Pat Clay; fiance, Nadia Alaniz all of San Angelo; three sisters, Tami R. Clay-Mitchell of Saginaw, Texas, Telytha Blackburn of Frisco, Texas, Cheri Clay-Reed of Pflugerville, Texas.Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at St. Paul Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles A. Davis, officiating.
