Leon F. Cooper Sr. passed away in his home on October 31, 2016 in Ferndale, WA. He was 93 years old. Mr. Cooper was born on March 27, 1923 in Derry, N.H. He served 22 years in the Army during WWII and Korea. He settle in Bellingham, WA in 1967 and worked at Intalco where he retired 15 years later. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Leon is preceded in death by Eva Olga Cooper his second wife, Julia P. (King) Cooper his first wife and mother of his seven children. Leon F. Cooper Jr. died in 1998, surviving children are John P. Cooper, Harold J. Cooper, Judith M. (Cooper) Anderson, Patricia M. (Cooper) Davenport, Ruth M. Cooper and Wesley A. Cooper. Leon has 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. There will be a Private memorial on December 3, 2016.
