Lenora Mary "Aimee" Kilpatrick (Pungalik), 71, of Noorvik, Alaska, passed away on July 6, 2023. She was born on October 1, 1951, to Albertha Atoruk and was later adopted by Jack and Cora Pungalik.
Aimee spent her formative years in Noorvik, where she delighted in picking berries, fishing, and camping. She later relocated to Anchorage, where she raised her children. Aimee held various jobs to provide for her family, demonstrating her unwavering dedication. She had a passion for cooking and often delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones and friends. Aimee was deeply religious, known for her soulful singing and devotion. Her favorite song, "Because He Lives," and her treasured Bible verse, Isaiah 41:10 - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand," served as sources of inspiration and comfort throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by Albertha, Jimmy, her son and daughter Jesse and Ashanti, as well as Maggie W, Skeeter A, Alice F, Janie A, Petey M, Charlie P, Irene F, Hazel S, Thomas and Edith P, and many others.
Aimee is survived by her loving children Juliann, Louann, Mabel, Chris, Lenora, Ooba, and Magaali, her brothers and sisters Roy, Mary Jane, Cora, Carol, Eleanor, Joene, Laura, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two in Brooklyn and Manreece who she raised as her own. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, and a number of Oomas.
