Lennard Revet, 55, of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, passed on June 15, 2023. Lennard was born on April 16, 1968 in Langenburg, Saskatchewan to his parents Daniel and Rose(Lambert)Revet.

Lennard is survived by his wife, Leanne Sokolosky; daughter Danielle(Andrew)Revet; son Dillan Revet; grandchildren, Mya Revet-Barnes, Kacee McLaughlin, Ryder McLaughlin, and Landyn Tegg; brothers, Kenneth and Adrian(Cindy)Revet; sister Theresa(Phil)Draper and stepsister, Terry. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends Tera and Mychel. Lennard was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Daniel and Rose(Lambert)Revet, brother Armand Revet, grandparents Julien and Marie(Brisbois)Revet, and numerous aunts,uncles,cousins,nieces, and nephews.

Lennard was the second youngest child of five kids growing up. He had a pretty big family. Growing up in a small town, he would always share stories, some good, and some bad of the different things he experienced. From working in his parents butcher shop in Antler,Sk, getting into mischief with his cousins and brothers, visiting his grandparents and being on the farm. Later on in life, he met Leanne, daughter of Evelyn(Brooks) and Demetrice Sokolosky in Portage La Prairie. They had two kids of their own in 1990 and 1992 and on September 11,1993, Lennard and Leanne married at the elks hall. Lennard was employed throughout the years at the shell, he was a butcher at the abattoir for many years, Manitoba Housing, Paramount and lastly, Sobeys in the meat department up until just recently this year. Through these years, he made a lot of friends and met a lot of new people. He liked joking around, fishing, going to the river just to reflect or enjoy the outdoors, having morning coffee with his special friend, Tera, going to concerts and skiing with Mychel, going to visit his daughter and her partner for morning coffee and helping when he could.

As per Lennard’s request, there will be no funeral service. His wishes were expressed upon conversations.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
