Lee BrockFort Pierce, FLLee Brock, 80, passed away at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, FL on September 13, 2017. He was born on March 9, 1937 in Stuart, FL, the son of the late, James Edward Brock, Jr. and Virginia Helen (Dyer) Brock. Lee was a graduate of Stuart High School in 1955 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962 as a plane navigator based in Jacksonville, FL. After the Navy, he earned a Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Florida and obtained his Surveyor license. Lee worked on many land development projects in Martin, St Lucie and Palm Beach Counties during his life time as a Professional Civil Engineer.Lee served his community through Rotary, RYLA Rotary Chairmen, Health and Human Services Board District 15 Member and State Board Representative, Hospice of Martin County President, Volunteer Mediator for Martin, St Lucie and Okeechobee court system, Florida Guardian Ad Litem, Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church - Deacon, Building, Sunday school teacher and Nursery.Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Anita Brock; five children, James Edward "Jay" Brock, Courtland Hudgins Brock, Jared (Kristina) Dyer Brock, Caleb Allen Brock, and Callie Louise Brock and three grandchildren.A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 23rd at 11:00 am at Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church 2880 SE Aster Lane, Stuart, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church "Making Room" Fund.
