Lawrence "Larry" E. WilsonWHITE COTTAGE: Lawrence "Larry" E. Wilson, 71, of White Cottage, died at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Genesis Hospice following a short illness. He was born on December 6, 1941 in Hebron, West Virginia a son of the late Everett and Iva Weakley Wilson. He worked at Burnham Corp. for 38 years. He played the steel guitar since he was 12 years old. He was a member of the Muskingum County Music Hall of Fame. He was a former volunteer
fireman for the Newton Township Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Leah Bussey Wilson of the home; three children Tamara (Brent) Vallee of Zanesville, Jim (Amy) Wilson of Zanesville, and Lori (Dean Dingey) Smith of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Brent (Alicia) Vallee, Jr., Brittany (Adam) Lochstampfor, A.J. Wilson, Ashley Yinger, and April Smith; five great-grandchildren Adilyn Vallee, Carson and Tanner Lochstampfor, Lexus Yinger, and Leah Fishbaugh; one sister Geraldine "Sue" (Jim) Maxwell of Cannelville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Thelma Valentine.Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday February 8, 2013 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Rev. Bill Koppert officiating. A cremation will follow the services.
