Lawrence Eugene Lende, beloved husband for 24 years, devoted father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on October 13th, 2023, at the nursing home in Cooperstown, North Dakota. He was born on October 21st, 1942, to his loving parents, Wendell Freeman Lende and Margaret Emma Hennessy.
Lawrence was a dedicated family man and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He had a profound impact on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Lawrence was a hardworking individual who pursued a career as an Auto Body Technician, where his attention to detail and commitment to excellence became widely recognized.
Lawrence was loved by his six children, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Preceded in death by Terry Lende, and Survived by David Lende, who is partners with Tami Eberhard, Walter Lende, Michael Lende, married to Sindie Lende, Lauri Lende, and Daniel Lende, married to Crystal Lende, were all deeply loved by their father, and he took great pride in watching them grow into remarkable individuals.
Throughout his life, Lawrence found immeasurable joy in being a grandfather. He had the privilege of doting on numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense happiness and laughter. He showered them with love, guidance, and support, always cherishing the time spent with them.
Tragically, Lawrence battled the devastating effects of Alzheimer's Dementia, a merciless disease that slowly stole his vibrant spirit and memories. Although this ailment challenged him, his family stood by his side, offering unwavering support and love throughout his journey. Lawrence's resilience and strength in the face of adversity were truly awe-inspiring.
Lawrence Lende's life on Earth may have ended on that fateful day in October, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, compassion, and dedication to his family will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones for generations to come.
