Ziegler, LaVina "Lovey" J.LaVina "Lovey" J. Ziegler, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Prairie Place in Ripon.LaVina was born on February 24, 1931, in Sparta, WI, the daughter of Emil and Sophie (Sinner) Vieth. She graduated from Sparta High School and on September 23, 1950, married William Ziegler. He passed away in 1995. LaVina was a bookkeeper for Ripon Cooperative, and treasurer for the Town of Ripon for many years. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and was a past Ripon Lioness. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, searching for and finding four-leaf clovers, bowling, camping, snowmobiling, watching her sons participate in sports, dancing with Bill, and most of all spending time with her family. LaVina is survived by her daughter, Deborah (David) Carew of Ripon, and her daughter-in-law, Kristin (Bryan) Washkoviak, and Kristin's children, Claire and Chase; her daughter, Jean (Thomas) Reinsch of Ripon, and their daughter Kelli (Donne) Bialkowski and their children, Talula and Oliver; her son, Dennis (Ida) Ziegler of Ripon, and their children Steven (Leonore) Ziegler and their daughter, Athziri, Neil Ziegler and son Kasen, and Chad Ziegler and his son Austin; her son, Edward (Stacy) Ziegler of Ripon, and their children and step-children, MacKenzie (Jason) Ziegler and their children, Sedona and Knox, Andrew Smith and his son, Chase, Hannah Klegon and Sam Klegon; and her daughter-in-law, Susi Ziegler of Inyokern, CA, and her step-children, Scott and his daughter Elise, and Julie (Jason) Raether and their children, Lily and Jackson; sisters, Dorothy Zillmer, and Carol (Chuck) Burmeister; brother-in-law, Merlin Kruger; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents, Emil and Sophie; her son, Robert, her grandson, Jesse Washkoviak; brothers-in-law, Norman Zillmer, Carroll (Elinor) Ziegler, Milburn (Edith) Ziegler, Kenny (Leona) Ziegler; sisters-in-law, Virginia Kruger and her first husband Freddy Cassel; and Fern (Norman) Weiss.A visitation for LaVina will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at The Federated Church of Green Lake, 489 Scott St, Green Lake, WI, 54941.A memorial service for LaVina will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at The Federated Church of Green Lake, with Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating.
