Laurie Blasingame passed away on September 15, 2024, in Cowpens, South Carolina at the age of 62. She was born on May 17, 1962, to parents Larry Atkins and June Lawson.

Laurie is preceded by her spouse, Robert Blasingame, who passed away in 2015 whom she married in 1995. Together, they raised six children: Matthew Covington, Jessica Covington, Tabatha Benavidez, Heather Blasingame, Perry Blasingame, and Josh Covington who passed in 2005. She was also a loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren Jonathan Covington,Dakota Covington,Colton Covington,Riker Covington,Zachary Covington,Lucas Covington,Braden Covington, Victoria Benavidez,Elizabeth Benavidez,Madison Benavidez,Jesus Benavidez, Elaina Benavidez, Talia Blasingame,Makenzie Blasingame.

Laurie had a passion for hobbies such as cooking ,painting and crocheting, hobbies she shared with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her creativity and the joy she brought to those around her.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Laurie Blasingame's life will be celebrated and remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of those who knew her.

She passed away due to complications from COPD. May she rest in peace. Funeral services will be announced at a later date. Thanks Living Water Funeral home.
