Laura L. (Bedford) JacksonMANSFIELD: Laura L. (Bedford) Jackson, 95, of Mansfield passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born on December 23, 1921 in St. Clair, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Trout) Bedford.Laura's greatest love was being with her family. She married the love of her life, Willard Jackson on May 1, 1942 in Napoleon, Ohio. Laura had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed watching Gone With The Wind with her friend, Evelyn, playing bingo, cross stitching and puzzles.She is survived by her daughter, Dorleen (Greg) Moats; sons, Leigh Jackson and Donald (Wanda) Jackson; twelve grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Bedford; and daughter-in-law, Susanne Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jackson; a son, Willard Allan Jackson; grandson, Mark Allan Jackson; sisters, Ida Boris, Betty Henry, and Florence Wapinski; brothers, Charles, William and Frank Bedford; and daughter-in-law, Diana Jackson.Friends and family may call from 1-3pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will follow at 3pm at the funeral home with Rector Emeritus David Sipes and Mr. John Evans officiating. Laura will be laid to rest next to her husband in Windsor Cemetery.
